    Refund & Cancellation Policy

    The Wedge is committed to a fair, transparent refund and cancellation experience. This policy explains how cancellations, no-shows, and refunds work for bay reservations, lessons, memberships, and gift cards. By booking with us or starting a membership, you agree to this policy along with our Terms of Service.

    1. Bay Reservations

    • More than 24 hours' notice: full refund or free reschedule, your choice.
    • 2 to 24 hours' notice: free reschedule within 30 days; refunds are not issued.
    • Less than 2 hours' notice or no-show: the full session fee is forfeited.

    2. Lessons & Coaching

    • More than 24 hours' notice: free reschedule or full credit to your account.
    • Less than 24 hours' notice or no-show: the lesson is treated as delivered and is not refunded or rescheduled.
    • Lesson packages: unused lessons in a multi-lesson package are refundable on a pro-rata basis within 30 days of purchase, less the standard rate of any lessons already taken.

    3. Memberships

    • Monthly memberships (Flex, Starter): may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month; the most recent month is not refunded.
    • Term memberships (Performance 6-month, Elite annual): can be cancelled within 7 days of initial signup for a full refund, provided no bays or lessons have been used. After 7 days, term memberships are non-refundable but transferable to another individual subject to staff approval.
    • Pause / hold: active members may pause a membership once per 12 months for up to 60 days at no charge by emailing us in advance.

    4. Events & Private Bookings

    Deposits for parties, corporate events, and private bay buyouts are refundable up to 14 days before the event. Within 14 days, deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled event held within 90 days, subject to availability.

    5. Gift Cards

    Gift cards are non-refundable, do not expire, and may be used toward any service The Wedge offers. They cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by Texas state law.

    6. How Refunds Are Issued

    Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. If the original card or account is no longer available, we will issue an equivalent credit to your member account.

    7. Weather, Closures & Force Majeure

    In the rare event we must close the facility (severe weather, utility outage, or circumstances outside our control), affected bookings will be rescheduled at no cost or, if you prefer, fully refunded.

    8. Disputes & Chargebacks

    We ask that you contact us first before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — most issues are resolved within one business day. Filing a chargeback for a charge that is consistent with this policy may result in suspension of booking privileges.

    Please include your name, the booking or membership in question, and the reason for the request. We reply to every request within one business day.
